April 2006 in Charleston
Wednesday, April 12th, 2006We had a fabulous Meetup at Kudu Coffee April 8, and then to a visit from Australia’s own Skyring, who came to Charleston for a few days en route to the Toronto Convention. We managed visits to all five of the Official BookCrossing Zones (OBCZs) in town, Folly Beach, Patriot’s Point (research for Skyring’s book), a walking tour downtown on Monday and visit to the site for the 2007 Convention Tuesday, food, beverages, fun, books… not to mention a wealth of Tim Tams and laughter. Sadly, though, Skyring left Charleston without tasting any grits. Next year, for sure. For more details, click on over to the Conventions/Meetings Forum at BookCrossing.
